Why did Yuvika Chaudhary refuse to play Draupadi?
The beautiful and talented Yuvika Chaudhary, who rose to fame with her role in television show Astitva, recently admitted that she had been approached to play the character of Draupadi in the upcoming magnum opus, Mahabharat and though keen on accepting the offer she was forced to let go of it. "I've been offered a role in 'Mahabharata', but the problem is I don't have dates", revealed the pretty actress.
"They wanted dates at a stretch and right now I'm busy with films and it's very difficult to take out time for the series. As of now, I am not doing it", she added.
The show is expected go on air pretty soon on the popular channel Star Plus and is said to include several noted faces from the television industry. Sources reveal that some of these actors include Shaheer Sheikh of Navya fame, Saurabh Jain, who was seen portraying the character of Lord Vishnu in the popular mythological serial, Devon Ke Dev...Mahadev, Pallavi Subhash seen in Godh Bharaai, Sayantani Ghosh of Big Boss fame, Puneet Issar and Prannet Bhatt. Shaheer has reportedly been selected to portray the character of Arjun while Saurabh would be seen as Lord Krishna. Sayantani, on the other hand, is said to don the character of Satyawati while Pallavi would be playing the beautiful princess Amba.
As per the sources, the actors for most of the roles in this mythological show have been selected however the makers are yet to reveal certain names.
As for Yuvika, she is working hard for her movie projects and would soon be seen on silver screen yet again.
