Nargis Fakhri to shake a leg with Shahid in her first item number
The Rockstar actress Nargis Fakhri recently joined the bandwagon of a number of Bollywood actresses' who opted to try their luck in item songs. As per some recent reports, Nargis will soon be seen doing her first ever item number in filmmaker Rajkumar Santoshi and producer Ramesh Taurani's 'Phata Poster Nikla Hero'.
The untitled number, which is composed by Pritam, and choreographed by Bosco-Caeser will also featureShahid Kapoor along with Nargis. It is also reported that Nargis will be seen sporting a different and never seen before look in the song. News has it that the makers have hired a well-known stylist to style Nargis for the number. A source close to the development said, "The item number will feature Nargis along with Shahid." Further details of the song are yet to be revealed.
Nargis has been offered to feature in a number of item songs in the past, but none of them attracted the actress much. She was also approached by director Punit Malhotra to perform an item number in his forthcoming release Gori Tere Pyar Mein featuringImran Khan and Kareena Kapoor. But the news didn't see the light of the day. This time however, the actress liked the song as soon as she heard it and so gave a nod to it immediately.
Phata Poster Nikla Hero features Barfi! actress, Ileana D'Cruz with Shahid in the lead roles. Apart from the item number, Nargis will be seen in her second film alongside John Abraham in the actor's home production film, Madras Cafe. She has also been roped in for David Dhawan's ‘Main Tera Hero’ starring his son, Varun Dhawan and Ileana D'Cruz in the lead roles. Nargis has also been signed for a three film contract with Akshay Kumar's Hari Om Productions.
