Arvind Swamy signs Bejoy Nambiar’s Bollywood film

The Roja actor, who made a comeback with Mani Ratnam’s Kadalin Tamil, is doing Bejoy Nambiar’s Hindi project

Roja and Bombay made Arvind Swamy aka Aravind Swamy a pan-Indian actor in the early ’90s. But after that, the man took a long break from acting, only doing a few films, and instead focussed on his business.
Early this year, Swamy made a comeback with Kadal, directed by his favourite Mani Ratnam. Now the actor has signed a Bollywood film – his second one, as his Roja, BombayThalapathy andSapney were only dubbed in Hindi. His first Hindi film was Saat Rang Ke Sapne with Juhi Chawla. It was directed by Priyadarshan.
Swamy’s new Bollywood movie will be produced by Bejoy Nambiar, who directed Vikram-Jiiva-starrer David. The actor is apparently very happy to be part of the project. “This is a straight (out and out) Hindi movie. An official announcement will be made by Bejoy Nambiar soon,” said Swamy, adding that he will also be signing a couple of Tamil projects in the coming weeks.
