Why did AR Rahman pull out of
Hollywood film The Seventh Son?
The award-winning composer explains why he had to opt out of the movie, in which he was to work with Finnish composer Tuomas Kantelinen
Oscar and Grammy Awad-winning Indian composer AR Rahman, who is now busy with many international projects, has opted out of a Hollywood film due to unavoidable reasons.
The Mozart of Madras wrote on his Twitter page two days ago, “Due to schedule incompatibility, I will not be scoring the Hollywood movie “Seventh Son”. All other movies are on in full swing!”

The Seventh Son was tipped to be a fantasy action adventure film and Rahman was set to score music alongside Finnish composer Tuomas Kantelinen.
Back home in Kollywood, Rahman is busy with a string of projects, including superstar Rajinikanth’s Kochadaiyaan, Shankar’s I and Gautham Vasudev Menon’s Dhruva Natchathiram.
