Rucha Gujarati gears up for a comeback
on small screen
The beautiful and talented Rucha Gujarati, who was last seen showcasing her culinary skills in Life OK's reality show Welcome - Baazi Mehmaan Nawaazi Ki, is reportedly making a comeback on the small screen with FilmFarm India's upcoming show, Do Dil Bandhe Ek Dori Se. The show is expected to air on popular television channel Zee TV and is also said to mark the comeback of actor Vikas Sethi who had been seen in serials such as Uttaran and Geet Hui Sabse Parayee a while ago.
According to the sources, Rucha would be paired opposite Vikas and both these actors would be seen in a negative role on the show. It is said that they have a significant part to play in the serial. Rucha has donned negative characters earlier as well and has been well liked in the same. She was seen playing the notorious Kiya in Sony TV's Saas Bina Sasural that starred Aishwarya Sakhuja and Ravi Dubey in the lead. The talented actress was also appreciated for her acting genius when she portrayed the wicked character Natasha in Star One’s Rang Badalti Odhani.
When asked about her upcoming serial though Rucha did not deny the reports however at the same time she also refused to reveal any details. "I cannot tell you anything now. Give me a few days time", she said. The serial is set in a Rajasthani backdrop and those close to its production unit claim that its storyline is interesting enough to keep the viewers glued to the screen.
Sources reveal that Do Dil Bandhe Ek Dori Se will have Arhaan Behl of Pratigya fame and Mansi Shrivastava in the lead roles.
