Madras Café first look: John Abraham and Nargis Fakhri get together for this political thriller!

The poster of Madras Café looks interesting. We hear Johnny boy is playing an Indian Intelligence agent and Fakhri steps into the shoes of an international reporter

Shoojit Sircar’s Madras Café starring John Abraham and Nargis Fakhri is based on LTTE’s activities in Sri Lanka. The film is shot in Sri Lanka and we expect some nail biting moments on celluloid as the film takes a lot of inspiration from the real life political unrest in Jaffna. In fact, the film was initially titled as Jaffna but the makers finally settled for Madras Café.
In the first look poster, Johnny boy is posing with his gun and sporting a rugged bearded look, and we can already imagine him satiating his love for some hard core action in the film. Ms Fakhri looks all geared up to be a part of a crusade. Her fiery journo spirit would be quite an antithesis to the girl next door we saw in Rockstar. Siddharth Basu – the famous quiz master also makes his Bollywood debut with Madras Café. Well, we hope Nargis and John are able to do justice to this serious concept without making a boo boo.
