next project!

Mohit Suri, who is riding high on the success of his musical saga Aashiqui 2, was suppose to direct a movie for Ekta Kapoor’s production house. But we hear that the talented director has been shown the exit door by the Balaji head honcho. In fact, Ekta is now looking to rope in Kai Po Che! director Abhishek Kapoor for the new film.
It has been reported by Zoom TV that the queen of tellyland was taken aback when Mohit revealed that he had hiked his fee. The ace director from the Bhatt camp decided to increase his remuneration after his last outing raked in big moolah at the box-office. And that’s the reason why Ekta changed her mind, we are told.
We hope Mohit hasn’t got carried away with his recent success and isn’t quoting an unreasonable amount, or else he might end up losing a few more films this way, wethinks!
