Raveena Tandon may be keeping a low profile as far as her professional career is concerned, but she hasn’t hung up her boots yet. Like her contemporary Karisma Kapoor and the veterans – Sridevi, Madhuri Dixit Nene and Juhi Chawla, the ravishing actor too wants to get back to acting and grab the limelight all over again. Only recently the Andaz Apna Apna actor had maintained that she will take up projects and roles that interest and suit her.

If the latest goss doing the industry rounds is to be believed, the wait for Mrs Thadani is over! We hear that Raveena has been roped in by Telugu filmmaker Srinivas to essay a mother’s role in his upcoming comedy. If our feathered friend is to be believed, the untitled Telugu film is a remake ofRohit Shetty’s Golmaal 3 where Mohan Babu will reprise Mithun Chakraborty’s character while Raveena will essay the role of Ratna Pathak Shah. Hansika will play Kareena Kapoor’s role while Tanish will enact Tusshar Kapoor’s role.

We are told that the yummy mummy has just wrapped up a long schedule of the film in Italy and Thailand. “Back from a long holiday and work stint for the Telugu film in Thailand… good to be in Mumbai, weather cooler here than Kohsamui,” tweeted the actor. This film marks Raveena’s comeback to Telugu films after 12 years. As far as her Bollywood comeback is concerned, Sudipto Chattopadhyay’s film Shobhna’s 7 Nights will release soon.
