Sushant Singh Rajput is a dormant volcano, says Dibakar Banerjee!

And their movie Detective Byomkesh Bakshy will release on December 12, 2014

Sushant Singh Rajput will be playing a just-out-of-college guy in Detective Byomkesh Bakshy in which he destroys some of the most evil and sinister forces purely through his wit. But what made director Dibakar Banerjee opt for someone like Sushant who’s so quiet and usually in his own world in real life? Doesn’t the role require a person who’s intellectually aggressive and has the ‘I can crack any case’ kinda aura about him?

“Sushant Singh Rajput has that dormant volcano thing about him that is just right for my Byomkesh. He looks so quiet, so self-absorbed and withdrawn – till you challenge him. Then he explodes and becomes the most dangerous man in the world – at least for the criminals,” says Banerjee. Well, what can we say, can’t wait to see Rajput step into the shoes of the famous super sleuth.
