Chennai Express song Titli: Deepika Padukone and Shahrukh Khan get mushy!

Shahrukh Khan and Deepika Padukone romance to a sweet and soothing tune, in the backdrop of a lush green Southern village in the new song Titli from Chennai Express. But we wonder if people actually get to do such bold coochie-cooing in a real village!

Anyway, Deepika looks resplendent in her Southern avatar and it’s refreshing to see her wear sarees, pavadais and ghagras instead of the usual shorts and little dresses that she has been sporting in almost all of her recent films. Dips also puts up a little Bharatnatyam performance in between all the romancing.

Music directors Vishal Dadlani and Shekhar Ravjiani have composed a decent love song. The picturisation – even though typical with lots of flowers and colours and all that – is interesting only because we get to see SRK and Dips together after a long time. Also, the voices of the new singers, Chinmayi Sripada and Gopi Sunder are refreshing to the ears. But in the end, it’s just Deepika’s screen presence that keeps you hooked.
