He was touted as the next big thing in Bollywood after making a promising debut with Ishq Vishk, but it seems Sasha’s bad choice of films has made his journey to stardom a star-doom

Shahid Kapoor’s career graph has been stagnant for a long time now and it’s only because the actor is on a rejection spree. Mr Kapoor has been royally ditching all the great offers that have been coming his way lately. First up, the actor was approached for Raanjhaana but Sasha turned down the project. Not so long ago, the Kaminey star was even offered Dharma Production’s Gori Tere Pyaar Mein, but Shahid, it seems, wasn’t convinced with the script. Yeah, you gotta believe that! It’s coming from someone who has delivered six back-to-back super flops!

Apparently, Abhinav Kashyap was quite keen on casting Shahid in Besharam. But the actor took forever to get back to the director and eventually Ranbir Kapoor was roped in. So three big banner films and Sasha lost it all!

In his decade-old Bollywood career, Shahid Kapoor has gone through numerous downs than ups, and faced umpteen disappointments at the box office. And by now one would have expected that he emerges wiser. But it seems SK believes in repeating his mistakes rather than learning from them.

To his defense, Shahid has always maintained that he is very choosy about his films. But it’s high time someone makes him understand that being choosy doesn’t mean choosing the wrong films and rejecting the right ones.
