SRK, Shahid Kapoor co-hosts again
Shah Rukh Khan and Shahid Kapoor are set to host an award show together, again. And this time around, it is for the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) awards in Macau on July 4. “I have hosted with SRK sir before and its always a privilege sharing any platform with him,” says Shahid. The duo has co-hosted shows in 2010 and 2012.
Meanwhile, actor Amitabh Bachchan, who was the brand ambassador of IIFA in its maiden edition (2000), is being conferred the Lifetime Achievement Award by the organisers. Big B’s son, actor Abhishek Bachchan is expected to jive to a medley of Big B’s numbers to pay tribute to his dad.
Big B had a fallout with IIFA organisers in 2011, but seems to have patched up now.
