Dilip Kumar escorted by Azharuddin
It was a poignant moment. Bollywood's greatest legend Dilip Kumar (Yusuf Khan), dressed immaculately in his beige trousers and shirt, was seen being escorted out of a five-star hotel lobby in the suburbs, by none other than India's ex-cricket captain Mohammad Azharuddin.
Dilip saab's wife Saira Banu, her head covered with a dupatta, walked a few steps ahead, while Azhar sweetly held on to the veteran actor's hand and brought him to the portico.
It is said that the 90-year-old Yusuf saab, who looked lean and almost fragile, but whose complexion glows even now, often spends a quiet evening at the hotel's coffee shop with close friends. On this occasion, he met Azhar, who was privileged to walk the legend to his waiting car.
