Pornstar Priya Anjali Rai to shoot for debut Bollywood film during monsoon
Born in India but brought up in the US, pornstar Priya Anjali Rai is certainly not used to Indian summer heat. That’s why her maiden shoot in India was postponed by a month till the rains make the weather pleasant for the hot babe.
Priya Anjali Rai, who’s been an adult movie star since 2007, is going to take Bollywood by storm with her debut in a horror film titled Beyond The Truth, to be produced and directed by Asokan PK. She was slated to start the shoot in May, but given the heat wave in north India, the shoot was postponed till July.
Now, Priya will arrive in India in the second week of July to shoot for Beyond The Truth in North India, Goa and Munnar (Kerala).
Priya recently confirmed on Twitter: “I'm going out to India to work on a mainstream horror flick…It's getting closer to when I'm leaving for India..”
The 35-year-old is apparently following the footsteps of Sunny Leone, who, after a flourishing career as a pornstar in the US, made a transition to Bollywood last year withJism 2. Now, Leone has set base in Mumbai and is looking ahead at a flourishing Bollywood career.
Priya Anjali Rai, who makes no bones about admitting that money is supreme, might also eye longer innings in Bollywood if things fall in place. Though she has been getting a lot of negative comments on her Twitter page for her Bollywood transition, Priya’s unperturbed.
“Thank you for all the support from my true fans I'm super excited to go. As far as everyone's negative Bollywood comments, keep hating .. I’ll succeed,” Priya posted.
