Katrina Kaif and Sushant Singh Rajput in Abhishek Gatttu Kapoor’s next!

The Dhoom 3 babe will star in the Kai Po Che! director’s next film, an adaptation of the Charles Dickens classic Great Expectations

Abhishek Kapoor’s last film Kai Po Che! fared well at the box office and now the director has roped in Katrina Kaif to play the lead in his next. After Rock On!!, the talented director went through a rough time. But it looks like Kai Po Che’s! success has changed things for Gattu. We hear that Katrina had a four-hour long meeting with Abhishek, after which she agreed to do the film. This, after the director insisted that he preferred to stay away from big name commercial stars!

Besides Ms Kaif, the Rock On!! director wanted Sushant Singh Rajput to play the male lead. While there were rumours about Sushant not being able to do the film ‘coz of his hectic schedule, we now hear the handsome lad is indeed part of his first director’s next project. Apparently, Sushant is sorting out dates for this one, which is slated to go on the floors in September.

Well, Katrina and Sushant will surely make a hatke jodi onscreen!
