Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif to perform together in Chicago!

The ex-lovers are gearing up to shake a leg for the show titled – 100 Years of Indian Cinema Concert and Awards which will be a three-day affair

Though Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif broke off quite some time ago (for reasons best known to them) and are not really known to be the best of friends, the Ek Tha Tiger co-stars never let their personal affairs come in the way of their professional commitments. We hear Sallu and Kat will join hands to perform at the Sears Center Arena, Hoffman Estates, Chicago, for the show – 100 Years of Indian Cinema Concert and Awards. The event is scheduled to start on August 30 and end on September 1.

We hear the organisers are leaving no stone unturned to make it one of the biggest and best award ceremonies of this year by roping in biggies like Ranveer Singh and Sonakshi Sinha (are we surprised?) to perform at the gala night. The performances will be choreographed by the dancing superstar, Prabhu Deva.

The highlight of the event will be Sallu’s performance, and the event will culminate with a live awards ceremony honouring Bollywood legends. “Our focus is to celebrate 100 years of Indian cinema worldwide and besides that we also plan to host an extravagant musical concert featuring leading playback singers Usha Mangeshkar, Krishna Beura and more from Bollywood,” said Sudesh Sonawane of Entertainment Synergies.

We won’t be surprised if the organisers add more exciting names to the list of performers. Remember, the Mental star refused to feature in the song from Bombay Talkies along withShahrukh Khan, a film commemorating 100 years of Indian cinema? Now, the generous superstar has certainly made up for the loss! So, all you people of Chicago, get ready for the big night!
